Report warns: London at risk of possible ‘catastrophic’ Legionnaires’ outbreak
A Health & Safety Executive report leaked to Environmental Health News warned of a possible “catastrophic” Legionella outbreak in London, showing Legionella inspections had dropped 44 per cent over three years.
The leaked report criticised poor management of cooling towers and evaporative condensers as the Health & Safety Executive confirmed plans to visit all relevant sites in the UK over the next 18 months.
