An organisation’s workforce is arguably its most valued asset – looking after people in the workplace can deliver improved productivity and reduced absenteeism, bringing huge cost savings to businesses.  Businesses committed to delivering a safe and healthy workplace thrive, others risk falling foul of the law.  It is essential that employers do all they can to manage risks and protect their employees.

How can the S2 Partnership help?

S2’s focus is on helping clients provide a healthy workplace; safeguarding the health and well being of employees whilst also reducing business risks and costs.

A key part of the modern working environment is the computer workstation – surveys have found that this type of equipment, and Display Screen Equipment (DSE) in particular, can be associated with neck, shoulder, back or arm pain, fatigue and eyestrain.  To minimise the risk of DSE-related ailments, S2 provide DSE assessments and reports, and training to help minimise these issues.

Manual handling is one of the most common causes of injury at work, with injuries occurring almost anywhere in the workplace and some environments at increased risk due to heavy manual labour or specific work-related tasks. The S2 Partnership works with clients to assess workplace-specific and task-specific risks, and provides training to reduce the risks.

S2 also provides disability access consultancy and access audits to ensure clients undertake the legal requirements of the Equality Act 2010 in ensuring disabled staff are supported in the workplace.

The S2 Partnership provides bespoke, practical advice and training to clients across a range of sectors, to ensure specific risks are identified, managed and reduced.
