CDM Awareness Training: Designer Duties

This course is aimed for those required to have an in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a “Designer” as defined within the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

Basic knowledge of the Regulations and HSE Guidance prior to undertaking this course is desirable.

Training will be carried out by one of our experienced and suitably qualified consultants.

Topics include:

  • Background to CDM 2015
  • What is “Construction Work”
  • The Principal Designer and Designer duties as defined by CDM 2015
  • Information required under CDM 2015 including Pre-construction, Construction Phase Plan and the Health and Safety File.

Our training courses can be delivered face-to-face or remotely via video conferencing.
