The S2 Partnership Celebrates 20 Years

This year, the S2 Partnership celebrates 20 years of providing first class safety risk management services and software to the commercial property sector.  S2’s longstanding success within the sector illustrates the importance it places on developing partnerships and delivering seamless integrated services to commercial property clients across their portfolios.

S2’s 40-strong team of qualified safety risk management consultants have between them over 650 years of relevant professional experience –and are trusted by property investors, managers and corporate organisations alike.

S2’s headquarters is based in the picturesque village of Elsworth, just outside Cambridge. The office-based team comprises the in-house software developers, QA testers and support staff, as well as managers, business development, administration and finance teams.

Since 1999, the scope and extent of S2’s service offering has developed greatly, although the ethos remains the same – to develop flexible, strong and long-lasting business relationships with each of its clients. Company growth has always been carefully controlled and managed, ensuring that every client continues to receive the bespoke, quality service that S2 is so proud of delivering.

S2’s market-leading online risk management system, RiskWise, was introduced in 2005, in direct response to clients’ requirements for agile, intelligent risk management software.  The ongoing innovative approach to software development has ensured that RiskWise remains the product of choice for managing agents, property owners and occupiers and insurers.  Today, there are over 13,000 users globally, benefitting from RiskWise’s ability to drive improved risk management and ensure peace of mind.

Over the course of the last 20 years, S2 has demonstrated its continuing commitment to industry standards, through proven quality, environmental, safety and information security management accreditations and certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.

The S2 Partnership has also developed partnerships with key industry bodies including the Legionella Control Association (LCA) for the delivery of water hygiene risk assessments, consultancy, training and analytical services; The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as a provider of OSH training courses; the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, through a partnership via the ‘Primary Authority Register’ – which brings significant benefits to clients through direct access to the Fire and Rescue Service; and the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).

During its 20 years, S2 has always supported the local community and employee-nominated charities, and has invested in the importance of wellbeing for its employees and others.  This year, S2 has carried out numerous fundraising activities for both Cancer Research UK and the Marine Conservation Society.
