Business Continuity Policy Statement

The Directors of The S2 Partnership Ltd are committed to ensuring the maintenance of operations in the event of a disruption or incident which leads to a reduced ability, or inability, to carry out normal business activities. S2 Partnership has established a Business Continuity Management (BCM) system to ensure that plans and procedures are in place so the company can continue to meet its own and stakeholder expectations.

Business Continuity Management is a management discipline that enables organisations to consider the implications of low likelihood, high impact events that result in the loss of one or more resources, and which may not be addressed through other risk management processes. BCM evaluates the potential threats to business critical activities resulting from a loss of resource and identifies appropriate controls to mitigate the risk.

Commitment to BCM is led from the Directors and implemented on their behalf by the Technical Director. Responsibility is disseminated throughout the organisation. All relevant personnel will be communicated with and consulted as appropriate on S2 Partnership’s BCM objectives and its philosophy to business continuity planning.

This Policy applies to all operations and activities undertaken on behalf of S2 Partnership. The primary business continuity objective is to ensure that in the event of an incident that impacts upon resources (people, premises, technology, information or supplies), then S2 Partnership will be able to:

“Continue to satisfy the service expectations of clients, maintain the RiskWise capability, communicate effectively, safeguard reputation and keep all other impacts within pre-agreed acceptable limits.”

S2 Partnership considers BCM to be integral in helping to build resilience from within the company via the effective management of potential or actual disruptions to the business. Continual improvement to the BCM performance of the company will be sought in setting and monitoring objectives, implementing the S2 Partnership BCM process and achieving the stated business continuity aim.

This policy has been approved by the company directors and shall be reviewed by the management review team annually.
