Fire Evacuation Procedures

Fire evacuation procedures provide definitive instructions on actions to be taken in the event of fire or fire alarm. Formal written fire evacuation procedures are required to satisfy Article 15.1(a) of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. A fire evacuation procedure is required to ensure all key staff are aware of their responsibilities and required actions in the event of a fire or fire alarm.

What are the benefits?

Key staff are provided with clear and relevant information on their responsibilities and required actions in the event of fire or fire alarm. This vital preparation ensures a smooth evacuation in the event of a fire or fire alarm, in order to ensure life safety.

How can the S2 Partnership help?

Our experienced fire consultant will survey the site and produce fire evacuation procedures including the arrangements for evacuating the disabled. The outcome of our assessment will be de-briefed to key staff on site and included in a detailed report of findings. The report will be specific to the premises and detail the pre-planned procedures in place for use in the event of a fire.
