S₂ Provides clarity on the Golden Thread of Information and the Building Safety Act

Following recent changes implemented as part of the Fire Safety Act in 2021, the newly legislated Building Safety Act has outlined the next step in strengthening the regulatory framework that governs the management of fire risk and building safety in general.

S₂ Partnership has put together an article as an overview of what requirements and expectations have now changed due to the Building Safety Act. Property Owners and Managers will now face new responsibilities, specifically surround the ‘Golden Thread of Information’ for all a building’s fire and structural safety data.
