S₂ go the extra mile to enable efficient, greener inner city travel

As part of our ongoing commitment to achieving environmental sustainability, we have launched a new initiative providing folding bikes to our consultants to enable greener inner city travel.

Since achieving our ISO14001 certification in 2007, we have been committed to identifying aspects of our business that could potentially impact on the environment. This latest initiative helps reduce our consultants’ travel emissions, whilst providing them with a healthy, convenient transport option.

Ivan Corral Molina, H&S and Environmental consultant at S_2, who trialled one of the S₂ folding bikes, commented: “Everything I have to say is very positive! I always use the bike lanes which, in general, I find are easily accessible for all our sites. I’m really passionate about using sustainable transport to reduce emissions and riding the bike actually saves me time getting to and from site.”
