S2 Partnership’s environmental consultant Sam Benson, releases article on Water Management, published by GRESB

1st September 2017

S2 Partnership’s environmental consultant, Sam Benson has recently written an article for publication by GRESB, for their members, entitled ‘Sustainable Water Management: Making Waves in the Commercial Real Estate Sector’.  The article highlights the importance of achieving greater resource efficiency with regard to water usage.

The article discusses sustainable water management as a vital concern moving forward in all sectors, and all types of water conservation (water supply, waste water and storm water) highlighting that sustainable water management need to be treated as a single opportunity rather than isolated issues. As the size of our conurbations increase, and the availability of water shrinks, this integrated approach will become increasingly important.

Data management systems such as RiskWise, S2’s market-leading risk management software, allow for water data to be collated and relevant reports to be produced, which prove invaluable for advising managers on where best to implement changes that result in environmentally positive and cost-effective improvements.
