HSE Launches Consultation on Local Authority Regulatory Services
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is calling for feedback on the best ways to address the issues that influence Local Authority’s delivery of health and safety regulatory services and its association to the HSE’s activities. Specifically, one option for consideration is a redraft of the Health and Safety (Enforcing Authority) Regulations 1998 which defines the arrangement of enforcement through the HSE and Local Authorities.
