With guidelines now in place with the aim to cut UK business carbon emissions, thousands of UK organisations will be affected by the new ESOS scheme. Comprehensive assessments of energy use and energy efficiency opportunities are required to be undertaken at least once every four years for qualifying organisations, with a deadline for the first compliance period of 5 December 2015.
