Health and Safety Law Poster – Your Legal Duties

Companies have until the 5th April, 2014, to change from the old version of the Health and Safety law poster they display in the workplace to the more simplified version. The change actually came into force in 2009, but employers had five years to comply – hence the April 2014 deadline.

Employers are required, by law, to either display the correct version of the HSE’s approved poster in a prominent position in each workplace or to provide each worker with a copy of the approved leaflet* that summarises British health and safety law.
