The S2 Partnership Announces Charity of the Year 2014-2015
Continuing its work in supporting the community, the S2 Partnership is delighted to announce its Charity of the Year 2014-2015 as Macmillan Cancer Support, the national charity which provides practical, medical and financial support for cancer sufferers and their families.
Macmillan was selected by an internal employee vote and will receive all of the funds raised by S2 employees over the coming twelve months.
S2 employees are currently busy thinking up new ways to raise funds for Macmillan; last year’s successful fundraising events included a company-wide ‘Bake-off’, a keenly-contested football match, a tea-making bonanza and numerous half-marathons.
Announcing the partnership, S2 Director, Stewart Smith, said: “We are delighted to welcome Macmillan as the S2 Partnership’s Charity of the Year. Macmillan carries out vital work providing much-needed support for cancer sufferers, a disease which affects so many people”.
