Property Risk Surveyor
Home-based: London / South East / Midlands
S2 Partnership is a successful and market leading provider of safety risk management services to clients within the commercial property sector. We are seeking a home-based Property Risk Surveyor to join our expanding consultancy team to undertake property risk audit surveys for our UK and European client base. The focus of this role is to review sites and operations in order to identify risks to assets and business from fire, natural hazards, equipment breakdown, loss of services and utilities and other potential asset damage or business interruption risk. You will be responsible for compiling reports that describe risks to both insurers and clients, together with prioritised recommendations for risk improvement. The work will mainly involve attending sites across the UK with further opportunities to extend this service provision within Europe.
In order to apply for this position you will need to have the following:
- degree, or equivalent, in a building surveying, health & safety or fire engineering background
- minimum of 5 years relevant property risk surveying experience, preferably from a property insurance background
- experience of undertaking audits to sites and operations to identify and analyse risks to assets and business
- experience of providing risk management advice and consultancy in the areas of asset protection, fire engineering, security and general risk management
- experience and excellent knowledge of fire protection, in particular the ability to review sprinkler specifications and systems
- experience of assessing properties in relation to the insurer?s requirements
- thorough knowledge of relevant UK standards and codes
- proven technical ability
- excellent inter-personal skills and experience of working with clients
- excellent report writing skills

Fire Engineer
S2 Partnership is a successful and market leading provider of risk management solutions to clients within the commercial property sector. We are currently looking to expand our Fire Consultancy team and are seeking a qualified and experienced fire consultant based in the East / East Midlands / London area specialising in providing fire engineered solutions.
In order to apply for this position you will need to have the following:
- Degree, or equivalent, in a Fire related subject
- Sound understanding of fire dynamics and fire engineering mathematics
- 5 years' experience in delivering Fire Engineered Safety solutions
- Experience in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments
- Experience in producing Fire Strategy documentation
- Thorough knowledge of relevant standards and codes
- Proven technical ability
- Good report writing skills

Product Development Assistant
Location: Elsworth, Cambridge
Job Status: Permanent, full-time
Required:
- Excellent communication skills

The Role:
The main role for the successful candidate will be to support the Software Business Director with the development of software systems and ensuring each delivery is of a high quality.
Tasks will include:
- Speaking directly with clients, both internal and external, to identify their requirements, analysing the outcomes, and making recommendations.
- Writing and understanding complex system requirement documents and translating these into test requirements
- Production of test cases based on specification documentation

The Role Consultant Scheduler:
The successful candidate will help schedule the workload of 30 UK-wide consultants. He or she will possess good telephone and IT skills, and will need to be well-organised with the ability to plan and work to deadlines. Previous experience in scheduling and preparation of fee proposals would be an advantage. The role also involves assisting with general administration duties. Reporting to the Office Manager, this post offers a salary and benefits package of up to £19K.
