S2 Partnership's environmental assessors undertake specialist
surveys in a number of areas:
Environmental Impact Assessment
- we conduct an evaluation of the effect of an organisation's activities,
products and services on the environment. This might include energy
use, water consumption, air pollution, waste management, ground contamination,
transport, statutory nuisance, supply chain and materials.
Waste Management Assessment -
our experienced waste management consultants critically examine all
generated waste streams to establish a waste inventory. This inventory
is used to propose waste reduction, recycling and re-using targets
with the aim of both saving money, and improving our environment.
Energy Management Assessment
- we critically examine energy usage on site and assess opportunities
to reduce energy consumption. This not only saves energy costs but
also reduces CO2 emissions and the sites impact on climate change.
Historical land-use and Contamination
Assessment - our trained and experienced consultants examine
historical records, including ordnance survey maps, in conjunction
with a site survey. We compile a report that identifies and addresses
specific environmental contamination liabilities, including underlying
land, hydrology, groundwater and surface contamination issues. Where
appropriate we may recommend an intrusive site investigation.
Environmental Due Diligence Acquisition
Survey - these surveys are intended to provide information
about potential environmental liabilities that exist prior to acquisition,
building or refurbishment works.
Indoor Air Quality - our specialists
can carry out monitoring of air quality, including airborne bacteria
and fungi, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide levels, temperature,
relative humidity and dust/particle levels. We are totally independent
of hygiene service companies and maintenance contractors.
