BS 45002-0. Occupational health and safety management systems – general guidelines on effective application of ISO 45001

30th August 2017

This month sees the publication of the draft British Standard BS 45002-0, which provides guidance to assist organisations on the implementation and application of occupational health and safety management systems, based on ISO 45001, in a way that is in proportion to the size and complexity of an individual organisation and reflecting their specific health and safety risks.

Anyone wishing to view the DIS (Draft International Standard) can obtain a copy from the BSI Shop.  The last day for public comments is 10th October 2017.

For organisations currently running an occupational health and safety management system certificated to the OHSAS 18001 framework, the S2 Partnership is perfectly placed to assist in ensuring the system meets the requirements of the new ISO 45001 as it comes into force – please contact us for further information.
