European Week for Waste Reduction 19th-27th November

European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) runs from 19-27 November – an initiative aiming to raise awareness of sustainable resource and waste management amongst a wide range of audiences.

This year’s focus is on reducing packaging and waste and aims to highlight the many issues surrounding over packaging waste, high resource consumption and environmental degradation. The key consideration at the heart of EWWR is addressing the “3Rs”: Reduce waste, Reuse products, Recycle material – and the EWWR website promotes a comprehensive selection of best practice actions implemented during previous editions of the EWWR to inspire audiences.
