The End Of Presumptive Results Has Arrived! – Rapid Legionella Testing

S₂ Partnership is now able to now offer a UKAS accredited rapid Legionella confirmation through our third party laboratory. By eliminating the presumptive stage of the Legionella test, accurate legionella results can be obtained within 24 hours taking away up to 2 days of uncertainty. This new service will provide a number of benefits including:

•  Fast and sure service on all Legionella testing using state of the art technology
• Faster Legionella results – confirmed 2 days earlier than at present.
• You will not have presumptive results and can manage decisions on confirmed results every time.
• Time (and money) will be saved on unnecessary remedial work.
• Risk to human health is reduced by minimising exposure time to high levels of harmful bacteria.

Rapid Legionella testing will be introduced at all laboratories used by S₂ Partnership before the end of 2015.
